What are your fitness goals?
I believe everyone should prioritise exercise and incorporate healthy eating habits into their daily lives. That’s why I promote the use of convenient forms of exercise, which I’ve used to lose weight over the past year. My goal now is to maintain my weight and help to motivate others. I also aim to build a bigger booty.
What other sporting or fitness achievements should we know about?
I recently completed my first 10km run – the Spar women’s race – in a time of 1h26m, which I believe is an achievement. I’ve been running for 3 years now, but only did 5km races. I’m therefore proud to have made the step up and achieved that time.
Why do you think you’re the next USN Face of Fitness?
I believe I share the same values that USN and fitness magazine are looking for. I’m not a mega Instagram-famous super-fit female – I’m your average girl next door, but I still promote healthy living as a part of normal everyday life. I always strive to inspire others, even when my progress hasn’t been adequate. I’m honest and share that on my social media channels, and I have no shame in recognising that fitness comes in many different forms. I may not be too muscular, but I’m fitter and leander than I was before. Following my transformation, I’m now the girl other ladies look up to for realistic advice, because I’ve shown them it’s possible to achieve your fitness goals by keeping it simple and convenient.
