What are your personal fitness goals?
My current goal is to walk at least 30,000-40,000 steps per day to burn at least 2,000 active calories per day. I now also attach 2kg ankle weights to each leg and I’m loving the challenge. Despite loving weight training, my body responds fantastic to this amount of walking. My ultimate goal is to maintain this despite having a balanced lifestyle with my family.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I want to do what I do best; I’m a cheerleader for life! Motivating people in love, life and fitness. As a personal trainer, I have inspired women over the last 12 years to achieve their goals. I would like to inspire other moms and working women by setting an example, which hopefully demonstrates that with a little bit of effort and making some adjustments to your life, you can live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I would like to show them what a normal maintainable body looks like and what they can do to get there and how easy it is to maintain it by making small changes and just believing in themselves!

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I love cooking and making up new interesting healthy recipes for my son and husband. I love finding new ways to make unhealthy meals healthy and nutritious. I’m a huge smoothie fan, and my NutriBullet is my best friend. My day starts with a huge glass of water with apple cider vinegar and then a yummy cup of black coffee. In order to have energy to live life and train, I believe good nutrition is key. There is nothing wrong with the occasional cheat meal or glass of wine, but it will never be the norm in our lives.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I’m a healthy normal girl striving to live a healthy but maintainable lifestyle, rather than a fad. I will show off the ease with which you can be healthy and fit by inspiring and engaging women, without forcing it on them. I would love to give a better outlet to my passion for fitness, nutrition and people by having a bigger audience to engage to inspire. My passion for life and fitness comes so naturally and effortlessly and I truly think this will make me an awesome Biogen Face of Fitness!
