Tell us more about yourself
What are your personal fitness goals?
I value the importance of creating a healthy lifestyle while I am still young to ensure I remain healthy as I age, which is why I aim to remain fit and healthy. As I grow up I now understand that our lifestyles have a lot to do with how we age.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
As a yoga teacher I have a small following of individuals who seek my advice on fitness and wellbeing. But on my own, I can only reach my close network. With a brand like Biogen I will be able to reach a far broader audience. I also recently registered a not-for-profit organisation, which I will use to focus on mentoring young girls in all aspects of their lives.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I am a physically active person and like to keep moving, yet I still find the right balance with finding stillness. I turned to hiking and Yoga as a stress reliever while working a corporate job, which led me towards a career in sports and fitness. I qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2019. I jog 3-8km a week as I am an avid runner and I want to get into cycling. I also cook and eat clean as best I know how.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
Many women have limiting beliefs and are so afraid of taking chances. We’re afraid to live out our dreams. I would like to show women and young girls that we can dare to dream. I am an accountant, but I am also a Yoga teacher. I hope to one day be a mother and a wife. It is possible to have whatever you put your mind to.
