I am a young, determined, adventurous girl who is always up for a challenge. I enjoy putting my body in uncomfortable situations to push my limits in order to grow. I am studying sports science and I am a qualified sports taper and sports massage therapist and work at big cycling events. I moved from homeschooling to boarding school when I was 10 and therefore I am independent. I eat, breathe and sleep sport and was the student who visited the Sports Department daily during break just to be surrounded by fitness and sport talk from the coaches. I am a lively, energetic, friendly girl who enjoys new experiences and getting to know new people. I tend to surround myself with like-minded people and end up training daily with my friends, which is awesome.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
Training, fitness and sports have been embedded into my life. I couldn’t get away from sport so I’m studying sports science. Every day I’m surrounded by aspects that give me knowledge to improve my fitness and well-being, on top of training every day to reach my goals. Every plan I make, I make sure it’s benefiting my fitness and goals, from rearranging tests to make sure I get to a race, to listening to online lectures while stretching to enhance recovery. I train with many great friends, so I am lucky enough to also have a social life embedded into training, which makes it exciting and competitive. Fitness is vital but so is recovery, I believe Biogen products would really contribute to my recovery process. Being able to study sports science gives me the knowledge to be able to vary my training and recovery methods using products to keep it interesting and enjoyable, which I’d love to help people do and find out about. Being able to race also brings adventure as I travel around South Africa to the big races.
What are your personal fitness goals?
As a competitive athlete, my goals include running 5km in 20 minutes, doing 12 pull ups, winning the world’s most popular canoe river race, the Dusi Canoe Marathon, and representing Canoeing South Africa overseas. In a competitive, supportive, entertaining family, beating my dad’s Comrades Marathon time would get me some brownie points. Keeping fit and living a healthy balanced lifestyle while enjoying training and recovering with my friends.
