What are your personal fitness goals?
I want to build overall strength while adding muscles and lowering my body fat percentage. I also want to improve my endurance and athletic skills.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I will be honest and transparent about my journey. Burning body fat isn’t easy nor should it seem like a quick fix. It takes years of discipline and commitment, but I will remind women to enjoy it. If I win, I will inspire everyone who wants to start with my love for training. It is your own journey and your own pace. We can never quit, we can only start again from experience
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
“Slow progress is still progress.”
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I started working out 3 years ago jokingly because I felt fat. While I am far from reaching my goals, I never have and never will quit. I love seeing the expression on my face when I lift weights. I love seeing a better version of myself each day, whether it is physically or mentally. I work out 5 times a week, usually in the morning.
I follow a calorie-controlled diet to create a deficit. My diet includes variety because I get bored easily. I have one cheat meal a week because life should be balanced. When I get the chance, I head out for a 5km run.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
It is a perfect platform for young and old people to see a true image of how fitness can improve or better your life without quick fixes. I believe in hard work and patience. Being the Biogen Face of Fitness would enable me to reach many people and be a good example of how fitness can be fun and enjoyable.
