Lives: Western Cape
I’ve been married for 7 years to Ernest Nunn and we have 2 kids. I am a small business owner. Boss Fitness is a functional fitness facility that caters for all fitness levels and ages.
I am a fitness enthusiast, Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, have a Diploma in Sport Psychology, and a food coach (Certificates in Sports Nutrition/Weight management and Nutrition). I’m an optimist, go-getter and an encourager and I am passionate about women. I love cars, I’m spontaneous and determined with a ‘ kan nie dood” attitude. I’ve learned you can be blessed with natural talent but that means nothing without hard work. These talents will only come to full bloom with dedication, focus, perseverance, goal-driven growth and a lot of self acceptance and patience with the journey and oneself. I thrive on personal growth, knowing that I continually set the bar higher and when I am equipped, I can equip others too. What we do with our stories is what defines us. I’m utilising my social media platform to share and empower raw and real – the good, bad and the ugly. As my platform expands to reach more and more people, I will ultimately raise an army of powerful women! The most amazing feeling in the world is seeing that clients’ hard work is paying off and what it does to their confidence!

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
It doesn’t fit in, it is who I am! It’s part of me. I am very fortunate to do this every day of my life. I love to train and coach people and help them reach their full potential. I know that for me to be everything I was called to be, I need to take care of this body that was given to me. Fitness, exercise and nutrition sets my soul on fire. I lead by example.
What are your personal fitness goals?
To become the best version of me after baby number 2. To not compare myself to others, but only with myself. To continue to love, nurture and accept my body for the amazing machine it is. It might not be the same as before, but different is better for me now! Through overcoming some challenges while pregnant and the ever changing body pre- and post-pregnancy, I hope to inspire and encourage moms, moms-to-be and single ladies about what can be. Nothing is impossible. To thrive on the wave of change and focus on living my values. Consistency is key! Just keep showing up, no matter how you feel and you will reach your goals. I want to compete again while running a business and balancing family life. Health and fitness makes it possible for me to do all of the above.
