Lives: Cape Town
I’m an all-rounder sports woman. I’ve represented my province in netball and athletics and I’ve represented my district in hockey and soccer. Due to recurrent ankle injuries I could not pursue my goal to be a high performance athlete, which led me to training. I am passionate about fitness and the body’s mechanics, hence my path of study, namely physiotherapy. My interests include cooking, socialising and empowering the underprivileged. When the lockdown started, I signed with a modelling agency called Mybooker and I’m looking forward to learning more about myself and meeting new people I can connect with.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
Everything and everyone around me resonates with my goal, which is to live and be healthy. Fitness does not necessarily fit into my lifestyle, rather it is my lifestyle. It is what I preach to my patients to become the best versions of themselves. Fitness is a fundamental key in health promotion. As a physiotherapist, it is important to be a good example towards the community to achieve compliance with prescribed exercises and achieve the best results. I follow through with the expectations of a physiotherapist as I enjoy living healthy and advocating for exercise, diet planning and taking care of one’s mental health.
What are your personal fitness goals?
My weekly goal is to complete 4-5 training sessions of 45 minutes with moderate intensity. I aim to build and maintain a lean physique and minimise my risk of acquiring comorbidities.
