What are your personal fitness goals?
My personal fitness goals are set around the 5 elements of fitness, namely cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Excelling and finding a balance in these areas is something I strive for every day. It is a time-consuming process, which is why I ensure to make the most of each day.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I will emphasize that it’s a personal journey and that it’s about a lifestyle, hence a life-time commitment, and that fitness and being healthy is not confined to a specific body type. I will document my fitness lifestyle on social media to hold me accountable to the active lifestyle I advocate for. I will illustrate and emphasize the importance of fuelling your body with the right nutrition, while demonstrating to corporate women that it’s possible to keep active.

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
My approach includes 2-3 days of road running, incorporating long and short distance to improve my pace and endurance, and at least strength training sessions and other elements as per my fitness goals. I also play hockey, which includes 2 practice days and 1 match day. Nutrition is also vital and I focus on getting the right amount of nutrients, especially on training days.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I am passionate about fitness and acknowledge the significant impact this has on a person’s overall physical and mental wellbeing. Fitness is a part of who I am as I have been active my entire life, so it’s easy for me to advocate for a healthy lifestyle and inspire and encourage ordinary women to embark on this path.
