Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
I’m currently training for Ironman 2019. I want to do the Half Ironman in East London in January 2019, then the Full Ironman in April 2019, then the other Half Ironman in Durban in June. I then want to complete the 2019 Comrades Marathon – all of that in 1 year!! I’m also an avid CrossFitter, so I would like to get stronger in certain areas of the sport. My goal is also to inspire other women and get them out of their comfort zones to set goals for themselves and help them achieve them, because I believe that a woman can do and achieve anything!
What sporting achievements should we know about?
I’ve completed 12 Comrades Marathons and 2 Two Oceans Ultra Marathons. My partner and I achieved 9th place in the Pretoria Throwdown CrossFit competition in 2016 and 2017. I’m the 2015 WIA4 Body Transformation Physique Winner and the 2017 My Best Body Transformation Winner.
Why do you think you’re the next USN Face of Fitness?
I believe fitness is all about lifestyle. You have to live a fit and healthy life, and that is what I’m aiming to do through my love of sport and fitness. I would like to inspire others and help them achieve their fitness goals, whether it’s doing a Bikini competition or running a marathon. With the public platform USN has created, I believe that I can achieve that. Anyone can be fit. It doesn’t mean you have to be skinny or muscular, it means you have to be as fit as you possible can be. We all look different and we all have our own fitness goals. I can be the USN Face of Fitness because I’m a fit, normal, strong woman!
