What are your fitness goals?

I began working as a Fitness professional this year and this opened up my eyes to other various parts of fitness such as entrepreneurship.

My Fitness goals include living a healthy lifestyle, being comfortable in my own skin and maintaining it all year round. Having previously suffered from depression and anxiety, I know that is to be holistically healthy and fit, not just physically but in other aspects of life as well.

I want to exercise self-love and care no matter what and lastly to keep improving and building a solid brand as a Fitness Model and Influencer.

Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?

I believe that my story is a positive and powerful one that would inspire and motivate many individuals to never give up on their dreams, to take a shot and give it your best irrespective of who you are, what you have or where you are in life.

Having entered this competition three times before, I have learnt to take failure as a vital lesson and do better each time. I am persistent, relentless and courageous. I have grown immensely in the last year, and I am clear about what I want for myself and my brand.

For these reasons, I would be a great role model in South African fitness industry. I can relate to many people’s struggles and hardship with the journey to being healthy and fit. My goal and aim is to show people that fitness isn’t only for some people but that it is for everyone. It is a lifestyle.

I believe that I am not only relatable, but I am marketable as well. I conduct myself as a brand and know that I engage with many people, therefore, take it as my responsibility to inspire and motivate by leading as an example.

My ultimate dream is to assist more, especially women to know that fitness is a lifestyle that can be fun, fulfilling and should be used to empower themselves. It is more than about just the number on the scale or how great you look in a bikini but also about how you feel about yourself and how well you are doing holistically. We should all take care and nourish our bodies and minds irrespective of our sporting activities.

I embody the ethos of both USN and Fitness magazine, and I am additionally not a cliche. Lastly, I would use the opportunity to the fullest, even beyond being on the cover. To collaborate with more brands, to take my brand to new heights and kick start my entrepreneurial ventures.

I am hardworking, humble, dedicated and very passionate and refuse to give up. For these, i believe that I am the next USN face of fitness winner.
