What are your personal fitness goals?

My personal fitness goals include having my own fitness studios. Not one, but many studios across Cape Town,including my hometown, which is Khayelitsha.

My other goal is to compete in Bodybuilding competitions, such as the WBFF and/or IFBB. 

 

How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?

On my social media accounts and in my real life, I  preach, practice and promote a healthy lifestyle. I encourage women to not fear physical exercise and to not be intimidated when it comes to the fitness environment. Fitness has no gender and no age. 

I also encourage women to not look for shortcuts when it comes to weight loss, building muscle or achieving their physical and health goals. Everything takes time, consistency and willingness to learn.

When I win, I will use the Biogen Face Of Fitness ambassadorship to reach out to more women, especially women and young girls in disadvantaged areas who have no access and/or knowledge about fitness and what it means to live a fit and healthy lifestyle.

 Fitness and health are a lifestyle. Not a deadline.

Any noteworthy sporting or fitness achievements we should know about?

I competed in Natural Bodybuilding in 2014 and I came in 2nd place in the Miss Bikini line up ,which was a great placing since it was my first time on stage. I made it to the Western Cape team and went to compete in Port Elizabeth, where I came in 2nd in the miss bikini line up. 

In 2015 I came in 1st place in the Davids Classic competition for the Miss Bikini line Up. 

2016 I came in 2nd place in the Natural Bodybuilding  Miss Physique line Up. 

 

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle

I workout 5 to 6 times a week. My workout program includes cardio, bodyweight exercises, weight training and spending 20 minutes at the end of my sessions to work on my stretching, which has improved my flexibility and I ended up teaching myself how to do the splits.

Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?

My first day in the gym in 2010 September was the day I fell in love with fitness. I felt at home, I felt so much excitement.  Ever since then, I have been on my fitness journey, having my ups and downs, gaining weight, losing weight, being obsessed with the scale to not caring what the scale says, learning, not giving up and figuring things out one day at a time. 

Fitness is the one area in my life that has never felt like a chore. Even on days when I feel off, I push myself to go get in that workout because fitness is not just about the outer appearance, fitness is also mental therapy. I get to de-stress and take out life’s challenges and frustrations when I workout.  There has never been a time where I regretted having a workout. I always end up thanking myself. Fitness makes me happy. It brings me peace and a whole lot of joy.

      She slept 🛏 and eat food 🥘 called gym. That is how I started to her. Advising people about to be healthy and fill good. She is TOWNSHIP inspiration. Preaching about healthy living life style .
