Tell us more about yourself:
What are your fitness goals?
My fitness goals include building muscle, losing body fat, improving my endurance and getting stronger. My ultimate goal is to always have a healthy and fit appearance and thereby inspire women (especially the youth) to live a healthy lifestyle. Being a mom of two beautiful children, I realise we face challenges every day, but a proper nutrition plan and exercise should not be a burden – it should a priority and a way of life.
Any sporting / fitness achievements we should know about?
I won my debut show – the IFBB Boksburg Classic – in the Bikini division, and the Overall title. I was Invited to compete in the Arnold Classic South Africa but could not compete due to chemotherapy that I had to undergo. I am now 20 months in remission and plan to compete again soon.
Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?
I believe I offer something different to the industry with my story, and believe I will continue to inspire and uplift women who are facing everyday battles, whether it’s fat loss, a poor diet or ineffective training, or even people with health issues such as cancer. I also believe that my fit physique and lifestyle is an inspiration to other people, especially those who are mothers and work a full-time job. As the owner of a ladies gym, where I currently coach 85 ladies to improve their lifestyle and quality of life, I see myself living out this passion and reaching women far beyond the borders of South Africa.
