Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?
I believe being USN Face of Fitness will open an opportunity to have conversations about mental health and how fitness/excise contributes heavily to a stable mental health.
I was diagnosed early this year with anxiety and bipolar hypomania and focus on exercise has help and saved my life for times when I felt I could end all. Not that it’s all easy but those are the conversation that need to be had. About balancing a healthy lifestyle while struggling heavily with mental illness.
