What are your personal fitness goals?
I am currently an amateur IFBB athlete, my next goal is to keep pushing my boundaries, defending my title at the IFBB National Championships and final goal is to become a Professional IFBB Athlete. Along with this I aim to work on weaknesses and strengths to ensure I bring the best package to stage.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I fully believe that healthy is a lifestyle; this to me is a very individual path for each and every woman. I aspire to inspire women to believe in themselves enough to respect themselves to live a healthier and more active lifestyle. I believe individually each one of us has the potential and ability to be the best versions of ourselves. I wish for women to be confident in their own; through this I know I too will be inspired by those who show determination and strength in their journey.
Knowing just how difficult; yet rewarding it is to obtain my individual fitness goals; I only hope to inspire women around me daily. This can be starting with the basics of health and nutrition or it could be dreaming big and achieving goals which seem too big but very possible.
Fitness is as much a mental journey as it is physical; with that being said I wish to motivate women to fully love themselves, take power in knowing that they can become the best version of themselves. Through the lows and highs I want women to feel empowered and never defeated.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
Your body can stand almost anything. It’s your mind that you have to convince.
Any noteworthy sporting or fitness achievements we should know about?
I have achieved a few goals such as winning SA National Championships in my division (IFBB Fitness Bikini up 1.66), receiving my Protea Colours and competing at Worlds in the IFBB Fitness Bikini Championships placing 12th in the World.
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
Fitness is my life; this includes daily training of both weights and cardio.I am in the gym every day; pushing and working on my weaknesses and improving my strengths. My meals consist of six meals a day; specifically planned out for me by my coach.
I always enjoy mixing things up with a boxing session now and then and some functional training , some yoga too to keep my muscles stretched and able to function within full range of motion.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
For me; I want women to believe in themselves and if I can influence them while still remaining humble in the fact of knowing we all have room for improvement that would be a blessing on its own. I wish to inspire people through the realness of my personal struggles or amazing achievements; focusing on one day at a time. I want to enable women emotionally, mentally and physically through my experiences. I hope to enable others and to uplift them.
