Why do you think you’re the USN Face of Fitness?
Sport was implemented in me from a young age. I had athletes in the house, and that had a massive influence on my extramural activities with later became my passion and lifestyle. Hence I choose Sport and Recreation as my career of choice and even at the university I take part in bodybuilding, cross country and ladies rugby.
For me, living a healthy lifestyle and working out is not something I do to look good and post on social platforms. For me, it is more about enjoying the process and getting addicted to seeing results. Only then can you attract or inspire the next person. Fitness is not just a hobby for me. Its something I live.
After having a baby at the age of 18, I thought my body could never bounce back into shape… well guess what? I broke those barriers for myself, and I have not been the same ever since. Society confides us into thinking that certain things are unattainable and only for a selected few. We are told what we can and cannot do by individuals who do not even know us or what we are capable of. Being the FACE OF USN 2019 would be the perfect platform to change that. A journey that would transform and bring change in me and all those in my vicinity.
