What are your personal fitness goals?

My goal is to be physically fit, healthy, and boost my confidence and self esteem. Exercise increases serotonin in the brain, which leads to improved mental clarity, cognitive function and better moods. I need to improve my mental and physical health. This will ultimately improve my well-being.

How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?

I will work tirelessly to encourage and motivate young women in and around my community to live healthy lifestyles. This will also offer me an opportunity to educate more young women about the importance of healthy living. I truly believe in the power of unleashing your potential and exercise is a good way of expressing that potential. #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship will be an opportunity which I intend to maximize and ensure I take many young women through this journey.

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle

I started my fitness journey back in 2018, it was by far my biggest challenge which at that time. After 6 months in my fitness journey, I then started exercising twice a day. I then advanced to hard endurance exercise, where I started running. This was quite intense as my body needed to adjust to such fitness. After a few months of consistency, I ran my first 15km, this was extremely mind blowing and fulfilling. This fitness journey has given a sense of achieving and inspired me to always go the extra in any challenge. This has been the best journey I have travelled this far and the road ahead is something I’m still looking forward to.

Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?

I’m a very confident and self driven young woman. Looking after my health has taught the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My personal goals and the Biogen brand are aligned. This would be a great fit for myself and add value to the image. My conduct and warm personality will indeed serve the Biogen brand in a fulfilling way. I am very keen to become part of the Biogen family and represent the brand in a positive light.
