I love to test my limits and I am proud of what I achieve. Over the past 4 years, my fitness journey has challenged me to do things I never thought I could and introduced me to so many new people with expert skills who have contributed to my success. I feel very blessed to be where I am and keep striving to be the best version of myself.
My positive outlook on life and my passion for fitness and healthy living are the perfect combination to inspire women. I want them to realise that we don’t have to fit into the mould of others’ opinions, or society’s fluctuating standards. Rather, we can feel awesome growing older, rather than overwhelmed.
How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
Fitness is part of my life. I train 5-6 times a week. I enjoy cycling, open water swimming, running and strength training. I am fortunate to be a business owner which allows for a flexible training schedule. I am a morning person and enjoy doing my training and workouts bright and early during the day. On busy days, I fit my training in between client consultations, appointments and lunch time. On days when things go a bit crazy, I fit in a 5-10 minute skipping session and I always take the stairs.
I try to eat a clean, balanced diet. I believe a healthy lifestyle leaves you fit, energetic and at reduced risk for disease. Good nutrition, daily exercise, and adequate sleep are the foundations for continued good health.
What are your personal fitness goals?
I want to continue training with consistency, run a sub 50-minute 10km and podium in my age category at a half Ironman event.
