What are your fitness goals?
I would like to continue to improve my body, working towards attaining a look that aligns with international standards, as I plan to eventually earn my Pro Card and compete overseas. I also plan to complete my studies to become a Personal Trainer and attain my BCom degree in Marketing, I would then like to start my own health business that specialises in helping women live healthy, fit and sustainable lifestyles. I would also like to become an ambassador for a well-known nutrition brand such as USN. This would really help to start my business and help me grow into a well-known and inspiring influencer. Ultimately, I’d love inspire women of all ages to live a healthy, fit, and balanced lifestyle.
What fitness achievements should we know about?
In my first year competing as an IFBB Bikini athlete, I competed 3 times and won 5 titles – 3 1st places and 2 Overall wins. I was also selected to represent my district at the IFBB National Championships.
Why do you think you’re the next USN Face of Fitness?
I think the fitness industry in South Africa doesn’t have enough young role models to guide and promote sustainable healthy habits and a lifestyle approach to keeping fit. I know I could be a great example of how to balance healthy habits without it completely consuming your life, or becoming something that is unsustainable. I believe that because I’ve been at both ends of the spectrum, I can relate to the struggles and hardships that one encounters on the journey to ultimate health. My dream is to show all women that fitness is not a number on the scale, or how ‘good’ you look in a bikini. I want to help as many women as possible realise that being fit and healthy comes in all shapes and sizes and doesn’t have one set definition. A woman who loves her body enough to nourish it with healthy foods, and exercise regularly, while still enjoying life, is what I believe constitutes a healthy and fit person, regardless of her weight, age, and body type. I know that I can represent what the USN brand stands for, all while helping women realise their true worth and potential.
