I am currently working full time and I’m an aspiring model from the township of Soweto. This year I decided to join a gym to help me keep fit and active and create a healthy lifestyle. Keeping fit and eating healthy is the best way to take care of your health. I enjoy outdoor activities as I appreciate the beauty of nature. I found it very challenging to train and work on my body and it requires a lot of discipline and consistency.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
I don’t have any other form of physical activity that I do. I don’t walk or jog and I drive to work and the shops. I realised that I’m getting unfit so I tried to jog and almost ended up in hospital because it was too hard for me. I have become the laziest person I know, so training helps keep me fit, flexible and energetic. I love how exercise changes my mood. It has also taught me that nothing is impossible.
What are your personal fitness goals?
I want to gain a little bit of weight and tone up to have abs and a bit of muscle.
