What are your personal fitness goals?
To be a fit mom who can keep up with my active little boy and to complete my 6 pack. I have always wanted to enter a Bikini competition, but have never been brave enough. I guess this competition goes on the list of goals.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I will use it to show women that we have an inner strength that allows us to achieve anything we set our minds and hearts to. I will use it to show women that we can find comfort in our own skin through good nutrition, a healthy mindset and a commitment to move.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?

Balancing life in general, a 16-month-old and working as a theatre medical rep (trauma) is tough. Before lockdown, I trained at Virgin Active. During lockdown I built up a home gym and have found my groove training in the garden. A large part of my fitness journey happens in the kitchen. As a medical rep in theatre for hours at a time, it is vitally important to have my meals packed, not only to stay on track with my fitness goals, but also to feed my body what it needs to replenish and renew.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I am literally your average Jo. I changed my life by losing 28kg and have proved that you can keep it off. I am a new mom, just trying to be the best mom to my little boy by setting a good example of good health, nutrition and fitness. I am also in my late 30s, showing the ladies out there that it’s never too late to make that change.
