I’m a wife and a mom of a 3-year-old. He is a very active boy. I need to stay fit to keep up with him. I recently completed my law degree and I’m in the process of transitioning from occupational health and safety to law. I am self-motivated and endeavour to finish everything that I start. I am currently running a book club of 7 people. Reading books inspires me and I hope to one day write my own book.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
Fitness is part of my everyday life. I work out 5 times a week and I go hiking with my friends every chance I get. Fitness has become about discipline and I try to apply the same discipline in other areas of my life. I am seeing great improvements in this regard, especially when it comes to nutrition and my work ethic. I wasn’t always disciplined with my eating so I would always joke with my husband that ‘I’m eating my workouts’. I have become more intentional with that area and I have taken 2 free short courses on nutrition so far and I am learning so much. I enjoy learning and finding out about things I didn’t know before.
What are your personal fitness goals?
I want to feel and look good, paying special attention to nutrition and general well-being.
