Tell us more about yourself
What are your personal fitness goals?
My goals are to stay fit and healthy and also look good. I’m a mother of an 11 year old disabled child and I’m a wife. They are the loves of my life.
My husband owns a crossfit box in centurion and I started training there 3 years ago even after so many doctors said I should not do Crossfit because I had a spinal fusion at age 24. But it has changed my life. I train 5 times a week and I lift heavy but I rather build my endurance not just physically but mentally by going a bit lighter.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
Due to having a child and being over 35, through my personal journey I know I can be an inspiration because anyone that puts hard work into their body can achieve their desired goals even if they have had children outside of their early twenties.
What I have achieved is that I look better now than what I looked like at 28. So age is but a number!
