How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
I run every day to every second day between 5-7km. I started running in May last year to lose weight and I managed to lose 10kg. I have never been overweight, however, I want to feel good in my own skin. At school, I played first team hockey and tennis and participated in dancing and athletics. After school I became a cheerleader at Nelson Mandela University and continued dancing. Fitness is very much part of my way of life. Fitness is a part of who I am.
What are your personal fitness goals?
I want to run between 10-21km once every month over and above the usual 21km I run per week. I want to partake in marathons and ultramarathons in a few years. I want to live a well-rounded lifestyle.
