What are your personal fitness goals?

My personal goals are ever changing as I keep growing and finding new ways to challenge myself. However, the overarching goal remains the same – to continually strive to be the best version of myself. Currently, I am working towards building and improving my total body strength. I am not after a specific size or look – I chase the feeling challenging my body gives me and overcoming mental battles in the gym is how I grow mentally.

How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?

The ambassadorship will enable me to expand my reach, and continue to educate and inspire women. I envisage creating and running several online fitness challenges with women all over the world, all with the aim to educate, motivate and inspire! I want to dispel the misconceptions that health and fitness is only for a certain type of person and create a movement where women everywhere can feel confident to pursue their goals, free from prejudice and with the best virtual community support and knowledge backing them up.

Tell us about your fitness lifestyle

My lifestyle is fitness orientated. As a certified personal and group trainer, I live, breath and advocate for movement. I understand and preach the value of rest/ recovery days because true growth begins the minute you put the weights down and give your body cells time to regenerate. I try to keep things interesting by trying new movements in my sessions. And I place great importance on remembering that an active lifestyle isn’t just something that to practice when I’m training but in every moment – taking the stairs, carrying my groceries, sweeping the house. Everything in life presents the opportunity to move our bodies meaningfully.

Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?

I believe in the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and I take my role as a trainer and a fitspiration for my community very seriously. I am easy going, relatable, and creative. My aim is to show my community that fitness can be a fun journey that leads to efficiency in several aspects of one’s life and that you don’t have to compromise to build and maintain an active lifestyle. I want to motivate others to get active. If I can motivate just one person to commit to making the changes needed to lead a healthier lifestyle then I have fulfilled my ‘why’.
