What are your personal fitness goals?
I always strive to be the strongest and healthiest I can be. I feel that fitness goals shouldn’t solely be based on looks and appearance, but also how you feel and what your body is able to do. I am currently a professional long jump athlete training to qualify for the Olympic Games in 2021. I strive to always feel comfortable in my own skin and not necessarily to conform to traditional beauty and fitness standards. Every woman’s body is different, and I try to embrace my uniqueness every day.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I will use the platforms to encourage women to be the best version of themselves in all aspects of their lives. I also want to perpetuate the concept that health and fitness isn’t necessarily confined to a single body type or appearance, rather that it comes down to loving and nourishing your body and making the best decisions for your health and personal growth. I want to encourage women to live a healthy lifestyle that in turn will lead to growing self confidence and a better self esteem and awareness of how amazing women can be. I want to inspire women through my lifestyle but at the same time be relatable.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
Fitness is like a relationship. You can’t cheat and expect it to work out.

I train 6 days a week, with double sessions on 4 out of those 6 days. I focus on strength training and speed. I also do a lot of explosive exercises. My main focus in training is quality rather than quantity. Every exercise I do is strictly performance driven. Recovery is essential in my schedule as it is the only way I am able to maintain the tough training regime I follow. My recovery consists of 2-3 ice baths weekly, a weekly sports massage and, most important of all, my nutrition. I love cooking and baking and I am a full blown foodie! I don’t like following strict diets or specific eating plans and portions. My main goal is to maintain a clean balanced diet packed with nutrients and essential vitamins. I try not to indulge during the week, but allow myself treats over the weekends depending on my training sessions.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I am confident in who I am and the woman I have become. I am very driven and have strong morals and beliefs. I might not always be the most talented, but I am always the hardest worker in the room, and I believe that through this I am able to show women that they can achieve anything with hard work and dedication.
