How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I will continue raising the Biogen Brand through my social media platform – sharing the products that I will be using during my fitness journey to support and mentor women, especially mothers to lead a fit/ healthy lifestyle.
I’m already an accountability partner to a few individuals. Though we do not train together, we share workouts and eating/ water consumption progress, so I will continue using this platform and most likely expand it to a wider audience.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
Find an activity that you would not mind making time for, that will not feel like a punishment – cause you are likely to maintain consistency and have less chances of defaulting!
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I train first thing in the morning, if I miss this time I would need a partner to carry me in the afternoon! I’m more of a cardio-box, high energy fan – the music and combos excite me. But I’ve had to reduce the cardio-box to once a week, and increase the weight and body weight training.
I’ve seen great results especially in terms of improving my 5k to be within/ under 30min.
I watch my food portions and sugar intake especially since I don’t like food restrictions.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I’m not a model, I’m just a girl that anyone can relate to who has already inspired many other ladies! My journey is relatable, especially after having a child “late” (at 39years) – I was able to maintain an active lifestyle throughout my pregnancy, obviously with the consent from my gynaecologists. At the moment, I’m fitter than I was before giving birth, and I continue to challenge my body. I’ve never been involved in any sport as a child, we didn’t have such where I grew up yet I’ve still found ways to keep fit and healthy.
I’m a work in progress, and nothing beats taking ladies with you on your journey.
