My fitness journey took me 2 years. It definitely wasn’t easy but with discipline, commitment, consistency and hard work, I was able to achieve my goals and it was all worth it. If there’s positive life changes you want to make, then your habits and routine must change. There’s no way to circumvent it. Getting in the best shape of your life is simple, but definitely not easy. I had to change my eating habits, physical activity and daily routines because no one ever got in shape sitting on the couch 24/7 and eating whatever they wanted.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
For me, it’s always been focusing on the process of change, and not always focusing on the goal, because the process is where the most of the value and growth is at. The goal is what keeps you going when you hit those roadblocks along the way. Recognising that family, working out and eating healthy is part of the lifestyle..If you want to make time for your family and get in shape, focus on making it a part of how you live and everything will start to effortlessly fall in place over time.
What are your personal fitness goals?
To always push myself past my comfort zone. Each new day is an opportunity to improve myself. I always strive to become the best version of myself. My other fitness goal is to help other women to feel strong, happy and as confident as I am. To become a fitness trainer is one of my fitness goals.
