How will you use your #BiogenFaceofFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
It is not easy to inspire women to change. Despite understanding the benefits of exercising and healthy eating, women still choose not to for various reasons. As a #BiogenFaceofFitness ambassador, i will help women find the “why” – a personal reason that will make the transition to a healthy lifestyle easier – by connecting with women on a personal level.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
Fitness is not about being better than someone else, it’s about being better than you used to be.
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I transitioned to a healthy lifestyle because I wanted to look good for a pageant. I now exercise every morning after I wake up and every night before bed, keeping my routine fun and enjoyable. Fitness is like a relationship: you cannot cheat and expect it to work. I’m very consistent and my partner and I jog 5 times a week. I get at least 6 hours of sleep every night, and I drink a lot of water. My nutrition plan includes a lot of fruits and vegetables, and less junk food.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I have broken my bad habits and started new ones. Through this competition, the public will witness my real life fitness transformation, which will motivate them to start a health and fitness-focused lifestyle.
