Tell us more about yourself
What are your personal fitness goals?
I want to lean up so that my muscle definition shows naturally, while also improving my cardiovascular endurance and pushing myself further. I want to shape my body in the beautiful way it was created and not be ashamed to have a short and athletic build because I am proudly me. One of my biggest goals is also to compete at the Olympics in athletics and play on the highest levels possible for my other sporting codes.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I will use all the opportunities to show women that you don’t exercise because it’s a chore or a must to finally be beautiful, but rather to honour ourselves and our bodies. I regularly speak to people about improving their lives by simply showing up and pushing themselves to be better than they were yesterday. I also motivate others by posting videos on relevant topics that people struggle with and discuss ways to overcome those challenges. I live the brand by staying healthy and in shape.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
“Just show up! That’s all it takes for you to be better than you were yesterday.”
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I strive to constantly improve myself by training 5 days a week, twice a day. I also train myself mentally by having an hour of personal development sessions every day. My lifestyle also includes healthy eating and maintaining healthy hair and skin. My “relaxation time” is active, doing hikes, group runs or fitness events with friends. I also try to broaden my training experiences by trying different modalities. Between gym sessions, I also train for different sports that I participate in.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I live for fitness. I push further than the limits that are set on us as women and I know I have the ability to help other women realise that they are not restricted by these limitations. I am driven and determined to help others. If I am able to inspire women to finally feel strong, confident and comfortable in their skin, even if it is just one person, then I will be satisfied. I want to remind people that our ability isn’t determined by our physical appearance but by our mindset.
