Tell us more about yourself
What are your personal fitness goals?
To be healthy by eating balanced and healthy meals and not restricting myself from anything but also not over indulging in meals. There is no such thing as you have reached your goal and you’re done. Always think bigger and what’s the next step. That’s why my future fitness goal is to step on stage to compete in the Wellness division next year as it has always been a dream of mine to do so.
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I’m that person always willing to help, so I’ll put this character trait to good use. I want to inspire women to be happy, confident and loving towards themselves and their bodies, no matter what body type they are. I will inspire and motivate women to be the best version of themselves without that comparison of another, to accept yourself and be healthy.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I went from restricting myself with certain foods, being obsessed with training all the time, even on rest days, to changing my mindset and having a good, balanced relationship with food. My new routine starts with an early morning, which includes meditation, some journaling, and then some stretching. I train in the gym in the afternoon. I would usually get in two workouts a day on Tuesday and Thursday as this when I do my bootcamp classes.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
After putting myself and my dreams on hold for far too long, it’s my time to shine. I’m definitely the one to inspire and motivate the women of SA To do the same. I know I can achieve anything when I put my mind to it. I did it and I believe all women can get out of their comfort zone with the right support.
