Lives: Witbank, Mpumalanga
I’m a mother of 2 beautiful busy boys, aged 5 and 8. I’m passionate about being healthy and fit. Being balanced and in a routine is also important to me. In November 2020 I decided to take my passion to the next level and started studying to become a personal trainer. Fitness to me is living a healthy lifestyle. I always say a healthy lifestyle inspires creativity and teaches you discipline, adaptability, and to find balance in your daily life. This lifestyle leaves you looking and feeling better about yourself, and by showing up as a better version of yourself for the people in your life who truly matter. I aim to inspire and motivate women to be fit and healthy, which is what keeps me going. I have my own private female fitness studio where we can train and be ourselves. I assist clients with training and to be the best version of themselves, to feel comfortable in their own skin

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?
Fitness empowers me every day through moving my body and realising how valuable and important health is. By slowly making progress, overcoming challenges and by caring for myself, I have learned to look at myself differently and more positively! I discovered that exercise benefits my mental health and wellbeing, while also improving my performance daily. Fitness is not just a phase, it is a big part of my lifestyle. By keeping other women motivated and giving health and fitness advice, I push myself and others to be the best we can be every day! I currently train 6 days a week for 1.5 hours a day. I love doing all types of exercises, but my favourite is weight and HIIT training. On Saturdays I like to go for a 4-5km morning run with a few friends.
What are your personal fitness goals?
I always aim high and shoot for the moon – if I miss, I will still land among the stars. I give my best, always! My fitness goal is to study further in nutrition, which is its anchor of a healthy mind, body and life. I also aim to someday be an ambassador for a fitness brand to share my workouts and meal plans on social media platforms. I want to get out of my comfort zone and to grow into a strong, inspiring fitness role model. I want to encourage people at all ages and help them realise that exercise is not a punishment to change your body, it is a tool to care for and strengthen it. We are not broken, weak, ugly or unworthy, I want them to know we are strong human beings, powerful and enough!
