When I think of myself, one of the first things that come to mind is sport. I love it! I don’t speak unless I have something to say. I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed. So eat chocolate or a piece of bread when you feel like it. I also really like bread! I’m currently finishing my personal training certificate and I’m very excited to share my love of fitness. Family and friends are very important to me and I enjoy doing things with the people I love.

How does fitness fit into your lifestyle?

Fitness has always been a big part of my life and it will always be part of my lifestyle. I exercise because I love doing it, not because I need to look a certain way. Some days I don’t get around to exercising and that is ok. I believe that mental health is just as important as exercising, so when I’m not able to train at the gym, it’s absolutely enough for me to go for a walk with the dog. It’s still important for me to have a clear program to which I should stick. Balance is key! It is easy for me to always stay active because I have so many interests when it comes to training. Going to the gym, running and cycling are my favourites at the moment.

What are your personal fitness goals?

The most important thing for me is to be healthy. Exercise is a way to keep me in a healthy physical and mental state and I want to keep it that way throughout my life. I want to improve my fitness journey every day. I believe that when exercise is done for the love of it and not for a certain look or number on the scale, I will always be happy with the way I look. At the same time, I know what my body is capable of being and doing. I want to push my body to be the best it can be, while having no injuries. Everybody is different and I don’t want to compare myself to anyone else to look a certain way. I want to be the fittest and strongest version of myself. I believe that loving exercise is the way I’m going to achieve personal goals. I also want to inspire and educate through my fitness journey. I want to help women and men realise that exercise is important to be healthy and that every person is different.
