What are your personal fitness goals?
My biggest fitness goal would be to attend IFBB Fitmodel Worlds and also get my Springbok colors in Bodybuilding. I want to inspire other petite girls and show them that no matter your size, you can build muscle and do whatever you set your mind to. I want to continue feeling confident in my body and keep progressing forward
How will you use your #BiogenFaceOfFitness ambassadorship to inspire women to lead a healthy / fit lifestyle if you win?
I want to encourage women of all shapes and sizes to lead a healthy lifestyle. Fitness is not defined by how you look, it’s a feeling of confidence no one can take away from you. It’s something you are in control of. I have great editing skills. Most of my photos I use on social media, I take and edit myself. With that I will be able to create amazing posts to show people all of Biogen’s amazing products.
What health and fitness quote or mantra do you live by?
“Never a failure, always a lesson”
We live, we learn and we get up even stronger
Tell us about your fitness lifestyle
I have always been super skinny and have a very fast metabolism. Some people would say I’m lucky, but I find it very difficult to build muscle. I workout 6 times a week, mostly weight training. I get 3 cheat meals a week with desserts most of the time as I struggle to put on fat that I need to change into muscle. I have a very unique body and so does every women. We can all follow the same diet and do the same training, yet we’ll all look different still. I want to change the stigma people have of me and change it to “strong not skinny”.
Why do you think you’re the Biogen Face of Fitness?
I believe I am perfect for Biogen Face of Fitness because I used to be that girl that I need to encourage through your brand. I used to wake up not feeling happy with myself. Feeling lost in life. I had severe depression and anxiety and I overcame it through fitness. Fitness made me who I am today. It gave me the confidence I needed. It made me a better wife and mother. And yes I am not where I want to be, but every single day I am learning to better myself.
